Nancy K. Kelly, DVM
Dr. Kelly is a 1976 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kelly has two children: Aaron, a practicing attorney, and Anne, a store manager, both living in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Kelly founded the clinic in 1984 and lives on a small farm where she raises sheep, chickens, and barn kitties. Dr. Kelly also has koi fish—and yes, every single one has a name.
Dr. Kelly enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and traveling to Arizona to visit her children, her grand dog Lucy, and grand cat Norman. She also loves to attend sporting events, especially for Michigan State. Veterinary medicine has never been a “job” for Dr. Kelly, but a passion she has been blessed to practice for over 37 years. She still enjoys the clients, their pets, and the challenges of the profession. It has been her joy to share and mentor many students over the years, over a dozen of whom have gone on to become veterinarians themselves.
Megan L. McQuade, DVM
Dr. Megan McQuade grew up just over the state line in Swanton, OH. At an early age, she loved and enjoyed the companionship of cats and dogs. Once in school, she excelled in science courses and set her goal to become a veterinarian while in the eighth grade. Dr. Megan obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Findlay, where she majored in pre-veterinary medicine. For her DVM degree, she attended Michigan State University and remains an avid Spartan fan.
At the McQuade home, you will also find an Irish Setter named Gulliver and a few cats named Katie, Timmy, Will, Bruno, and Sparty. When not working in the office, Dr. McQuade enjoys walking with Gulliver and traveling to Ireland, her favorite place.
Nicole R. Sheimo, DVM
Dr. Sheimo is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She attended Adrian College as an undergrad and graduated from Morenci High School. Dr. Sheimo is married to Andy Sheimo, and her hobbies include reading science fiction, crocheting and playing Dungeons and Dragons: Guild Wars online. She has six cats; two that live indoors and four that live outdoors.
Amanda Cole, DVM
