Megan McQuade
DVM
Dr. Megan McQuade grew up just over the state line in Swanton, OH. At an early age, she loved and enjoyed the companionship of cats and dogs. Once in school, she excelled in science courses and set her goal to become a veterinarian while in the eighth grade. Dr. Megan obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Findlay, where she majored in pre-veterinary medicine. For her DVM degree, she attended Michigan State University and remains an avid Spartan fan; go green!
At the McQuade home, you will find two Irish Setters, Cavanaugh and Bracken, and a clowder of cats. When not working in the office, Dr. McQuade enjoys walking miles with her dogs and traveling to Ireland, her favorite place.
Karissa Garza
Dr. Karissa Garza is a lifelong resident of Lenawee County. As a teenager, she was active in 4-H and grew up surrounded by a wide variety of pets. She graduated from Sand Creek High School and went on to attend Michigan State University for both her undergraduate and veterinary studies. Dr. Garza has been practicing in Southwest Michigan and Northeast Ohio for the past 17 years.
In her free time, she enjoys swimming with her family. Dr. Garza and her husband, Oliver, are the proud parents of three children and share their home with two fun-loving mixed-breed dogs, Flash and Remy.
