Get to know our wonderful team of veterinarians! They’re passionate about welcoming pets and people into our practice and making them feel right at home.
Dr. Megan McQuade grew up just over the state line in Swanton, OH. At an early age, she loved and enjoyed the companionship of cats and dogs. Once in school, she excelled in science courses and set her goal to become a veterinarian while in the eighth grade. Dr. Megan obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Findlay, where she majored in pre-veterinary medicine. For her DVM degree, she attended Michigan State University and remains an avid Spartan fan; go green!
At the McQuade home, you will find two Irish Setters, Cavanaugh and Bracken, and a clowder of cats. When not working in the office, Dr. McQuade enjoys walking miles with her dogs and traveling to Ireland, her favorite place.

Since graduating from Michigan State University, Dr. Johnson has been practicing in Michigan and Indiana. Starting in 2021, Dr. Johnson is thrilled to call Lenawee County home to her career, as she is a Lenawee Christian Graduate and very familiar with the area. Dr. Johnson is a Michigan native and enjoys all outdoor activities, especially kayaking and camping. When possible, she loves to take along her beloved Golden Retriever, Cove, and mixed breed dog, Maddie.
While Dr. Johnson enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine, she finds a true passion for surgery. Not just any surgery, but all surgeries! At KVC, we are thrilled to have Dr. Johnson as a part of our surgery rotation and look forward to sharing new ideas and techniques with all.
